Your Nervous System Needs This

Hey folks,

Urgency feels normal in our culture: fast emails, multitasking, squeezing more into less time. But your nervous system registers urgency as a threat. When you rush, your body thinks something dangerous is happening, and it kicks into hypervigilance.

Over time, this state becomes the default. Your system doesn’t learn how to downregulate, and the wear-and-tear builds.

The antidote? Slowing down. Even small shifts retrain your body to recognize safety. When you give your full attention to one thing, your nervous system registers coherence, completion, and calm.

Try it today:

  • Walk slower.
  • Eat slower.
  • Work on one task at a time.

Notice your shoulders, your breath, your gut. With each slower step, your system softens, your attention deepens, and anxiety loosens its grip.

When you need support with movement, we’re here to guide you through it. Check out our upcoming group offerings, or book your next session with us.

With Care,

The Attunement Team

Upcoming Events Attuned Inquiry

Once a month, Christian hosts small-group sessions where one person works with me in real time while the rest of the group witnesses, tracks their own sensations, and learns through shared presence. It’s a unique opportunity to experience somatic therapy in community, deepening self-awareness, building nervous system capacity, and connecting with others in an intentional, supportive space.

Hi friends! Some of ya'll are jumping in on email 3! If you missed emails 1 & 2 you can go back and read them. I suggest that you do! You can do that here & here. --- Alright, it’s time to get into the nitty-gritty. Before we get into how The Wellspring works, it’s important to be clear about why it exists. Our tagline says it clearly: “The Wellspring is a place for distracted Millennials** to rebuild their attention so they can take bold and courageous action toward the life they want to...

What's up ya'll! This is the second email in our intro series, if you missed that one, you can read it here. In July of 2025, I was feeling a lull in my therapy practice. It felt like therapy, in general, was treading water. My clients and I were caught in a loop of endless processing, and we weren’t getting any closer to the outcomes we actually wanted. At the time, I was externalizing that frustration and making it about my clients. But, as is usually the case, that was a projection. The...

Hello, If you’re receiving this email, it’s because you watched my recent Instagram reel about Millennials and our role as as the Hero in this turning. This email is to introduce you to our creation! The Wellspring is an idea I’ve been quietly cooking for nearly six months, and we’re finally ready to take some action on it. I’ve teamed up with my buddy Jake Stanisci, and we’re actively bringing this community to life. Below is a high-level overview of who this community is for and what we’re...
